ABOUT THE ARTIST
Pamela Patton has been a professional artist for 30 years. Her primary media are watercolors and colored pencils. Her preferred subjects are landscapes and florals, primarily botanicals.

Pamela is a member of numerous associations, including the Bellevue Artisits Association, where she is a past president; the Omaha Artists Association; and the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs (ANAC). She is also a member of the artists' community at the Hot Shops in downtown Omaha, Nebraska.

Included among Pam's many awards are one in the Botanical Print Competition for the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum sponsored by the Nebraska Arts Council; an award in the ANAC traveling show; and numerous awards for watercolors in both landscapes and florals in the Bellevue Artists Association's Silver Palette Competition.

Pam was the featured artist at the Nebraska Governor's Mansion in June 2007, as well as being exhibited in three separate one-woman shows at Lauritzen Gardens botanical center and the Hilmer Gallery in Omaha Nebraska.

Pam frames all of her own art. She has been framing for 20 years, and owns and operates Robinwood Fine Art & Framing in Bellevue, Nebraska. She has worked for Anderson O'Brien Fine Art Gallery in Omaha, where she served as their master framer, with an emphasis on conservation framing.

She has taught classes in Watercolor Painting and Picture Framing in both fundamental and advanced techniques for Metropolitan Community College in Omaha. Her work can be seen in various galleries, including the Great Plains Art Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska, the Corning Center for Fine Arts in Corning, Iowa. She also has displays of her works at the Hot Shops in Omaha, Nebraska. Pam produces prints and cards of her work that are distributed through Botanical Gardens across the country.
